As you probably know, Half Moon Bay is foggy many days of the year. Generally, our Fall (Sept.-Oct.) and Spring (April-May) are the warmest times of the year, with highs generally in the 70s. Winter (Nov.-Feb.) and Summer (June-Aug.) are generally very foggy, with patches of sun. That said, the weather changes quickly, so we encourage you to wear layers of clothes, sunscreen, hats, and to bring water. Also, you should be prepared to get your clothes and shoes dirty or muddy. We will have gardening gloves and hand-washing stations available. We have one port-o-potty on-site that is cleaned regularly.
Please note that we are located on a commercial farm near a residential neighborhood. In order to continue offering programs in the future, we ask everyone follow these rules:
Please refrain from using cell phones while on the farm. If there is an emergency, please excuse yourself from the group and conduct your conversation out of earshot of our farm activities.
Dogs are not allowed on commercial farms. If someone in your group requires an aide dog, please let us know as soon as possible.
Smoking is not permitted at any time on any of the farm premises.
Our farm is located at the end of Bridgeport Dr. about 4 miles North of Highway 92 and downtown Half Moon Bay. If you are coming south through Pacifica, you’ll turn left off of Hwy 1 South onto Coral Reef. Coming from Half Moon Bay, you’ll turn right onto Coral Reef off of Hwy 1 immediately after the Capistrano stoplight near the harbor.
In an effort to be good neighbors, we ask that you park at the curb by the public park on the East side of Bridgeport Dr. Please leave your car at the park and bring all your food, beverage, sunscreen, hats, etc. with you as you walk North on Bridgeport until it dead-ends.
