February always feels like a busy month at The HEAL Project. We’ll be starting a new crop of Intensive Garden Program students at Hatch and Farallone View, we’re getting ready to start ploughing and planting at The San Mateo County School Farm, and we’re gearing up for our annual Spring Ahead strolling supper and auction event. The winter lull is over and we’re stepping into spring full of energy and excitement for the year ahead!
Early bird tickets are now available for Spring Ahead, our annual fundraiser event! Spring Ahead is a wonderful night of eating delicious, locally sourced food and drink prepared by some of the most talented chefs on the coast. Join us for a multi-course strolling supper on March 29th, tickets can be purchased through our website: www.thehealproject.org/tickets
Ever wonder what The HEAL Project has been up to over the past year? Take a look at our Annual Reportto get a snap shot of how many students we served, what they learned, and more! Because of your support, last year was one of our most successful years. That said, we feel confident that our brightest years lay ahead of us!
February has been an exciting month for The HEAL Project! We are so thrilled to accept grants from the Bothin Foundation and The Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay. With the support of both of these organizations we’ll be purchasing a new John Deere tractor and building a second classroom at the San Mateo County School Farm. It’s so exciting to see the community come together to support our kids in getting the hands-on education they deserve!
